Advanced Medical Research was founded in 2005 by Dr. Nizar Daboul, a Board Certified Internist and a proven leader with over 14 years of clinical research experience. We are an independent, multi-therapeutic outpatient Clinical Research Center located in Maumee Ohio. Advanced Medical Research has an extensive quality assurance program in place to ensure that the quality of both patients and the data we produce are up to, if not surpass industry standards. We have passed many sponsor audits with no findings and pride ourselves on the work that we produce.

    Nizar Daboul, M.D. is a board certified internist who focuses on cardiovasclar and metabolic health. He has been involved in research for the last 25+ years with many pulibications. Dr. Daboul focuses on education, providing training for future medical staff through UTMC.

    Rachael has worked 18+ years in healthcare with 11+ years as a nurse. She graduated from Stauztenberger College with a degree in Nursing in 2012. Rachael joined Advanced Medical Research in June 2018 as a clinical research coordinator and was promoted to Site Manager in August of 2021.

Why Volunteer?

Clinical Research, in which new medication or treatment methods are tested on human subjects, are a critical component of medical research and advancement. Here are some reasons why participants choose to volunteer in a clinical trial.

  • A clinical trial may allow you to gain access to treatment would be otherwise be unavailable to you.

  • If you have exhausted all standard options for treatment, a clinical trial might offer a new option that helps where standard therapies have failed.
